Chelsea & Matt - Greenville SC Wedding at Twigs

Years ago I was hired to photograph Chelsea's senior photos, now here we are . . . her wedding day.  It's the ultimate compliment and the most fulfilling experience when a photographer grows with their clients.  It's special.  Chelsea's wedding day didn't disappoint!  It was a BEAUTIFUL fall afternoon in Greenville, SC and she had some of her best friends and closest family by her side.  I am a HUGE fan of her bridesmaids gowns and the different colors and different looks.  Those, along with the beautiful bouquets that Twigs provided, made for extra gorgeous photos!  There was a killer reception where everyone (even Grandma) danced the night away!  Enjoy your peek into her day!

Yay for Fall Senior Sessions!  Fall is my FAVORITE time of year, and when people ask to book their students any time in September or October, I'm thrilled!  Not only are we NOT shooting in July, when it's blazing hot in the South, but we have gorgeous fall color and light!  I photographed Corbett's sister Jamie a couple of years ago, so it was fun to meet up with the family again this year.  Corbett is a soccer player and aspiring photographer, so we worked some of that (new headshots, yo!) into the session as well!  Enjoy!

It isn't often that you get to photograph the wedding of a dear friend.  I had the opportunity to be a part of Carole and Shane's special day this year.  We started talking about the wedding last year, when Carole was diagnosed with breast cancer.  There was so much uncertainty in the future and I remember sitting on the phone, crying with her.  After life-saving surgery, Carole is cancer free.  Talk about Praise God!  This wedding was such a beautiful and special event, and I am thankful to be the one she chose to capture her memories.

Word of mouth is my best referral tool.  I am so appreciative when a client contacts me and says, such-and-such referred me.  Newborn sessions are exciting, fun, and sweet!  I love it when parents use items that are special to them, too!  Dad is an avid golfer, so you'll see the CUTE pic below . . .

Enjoy.

Julia & Shane {Lindsey Plantation Wedding} Taylors, SC

This was my first time shooting at Lindsey Plantation and it was beautiful!  It was the windiest day of the year, so we definitely had our challenges, but the venue was so accomodating.  This was my second wedding with the LeJeune family, so it was like working with family.  They are incredibly sweet, loving, and funny.  One of the most exciting parts of the day was the first look with the bride and groom.  More and more couples are choosing a first look to take pressure off of the big day and get photos out of the way and done early.  I love it because we get more time for "romantics" with the bride and groom.  Congrats Shane and Julia!

xoxo

Enjoy.
